June 8th

Hey family and friends! This week has been great! It has been hard to get people to commit to go to church but I know that I am trying my best to accomplish what the Lord wants me to accomplish. I know that we will always have trials, even in the mission we have a ton of trails and we just need to put our faith in the lord to help us overcome our difficulties and challenges.

So this week we had 14 lessons with members and we still have our two fechas. One for 27 of June and one for the 18 of July. Both these people show desires to be baptized but these last two weeks they haven't come to church. A lot of time it is really frustrating to not see them in church, but salvation is personal. If I am doing all I need to to help them, then I can't be held accountable. I can only show my love for them, help them all I can, and pray for them. But if I do all these things without faith, it is useless. in peter 2:17 and 18 says without works, faith is dead and also it means that with out faith, all of our works are dead. In Peter 1:6 says if we ask with faith, then we won't be the sands of the sea, moving where ever the sea pushes us. We need to build our faith in Christ. Our rock needs to be Him. If we build our rock in Christ, nothing will tear us down, nothing will harm us and nothing can confound us. (Helaman 5:12)

During my studies this last week I have been reading in 2 Nephi 2 through 2 nephi 31 and I still have a hard time understanding Isaiah but I love the way he describes everything. My favoite part is when he talks about people who say, a Bible Bible, we have a Bible and we don't need more Bible. but without the Book of Mormon they will never recieve all the blessings and knowledge that they want about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that the Book of Mormon only talks about one person, Jesus Christ. (2 nephi 25:26) I know that Jesus Christ payed for our sins that we can feel clean and come to a knowledge of what we need to do differently. I know that as we follow every commandment with exactness, we will see the blessing and miracles in our own lives and the lives of our families.

I love you guys and want you guys to know that you are in my prayers everyday.
