August 10th

Well this last week has been awesome as we have really worked in our sweat! and I'm serious, we sweat every minute of the day because I'm back outside of the capital! This zone in called Zona Motagua, but it a pueblo outside of Zacapa but we are working in Teculutan, Zacapa. It's about 30 min away from my area in Zacapa.

So I'm here in Teculutan with Elder Morgan and it turns out that president doesn't want me to be district leader anymore... so Elder Morgan is senior companion and we are working hard here to help our zone progress. Yep, I got moved up to zone leader with Elder Morgan! Elder Morgan is from Hawaii! and he will be finishing his misison this change. He only has 5 weeks left and I will have only a year left by the end of this change! I am grateful for this opportunity I have to learn from Elder Morgan and to also be here in Zona Motagua. So in this zone there are 8 elders and 6 hermanas. 2 of the hermanas are sister training leaders, which means they are the sisters that help all of the other sisters. Next the other two companionships of the sisters are training! and of the 6 elders, 1 is training and District leader and 1 other is district leader.

This zone is spread out because it's not a city, it's just small towns. So two areas in our zone are a hour away by bus and the other 3 are about 20 min away by bus. So our zone is pretty spread out!

Also, we have 2 fechas for this week! Their names are Eric and Veronica and they are so ready to be baptized! They had doubts before but they recieved their answers to their prayers.

Also, we have another person progressing but she can't be baptized because she needs to get married, but the birth certificate of her husband got burned and the government hasn't send him a new copy yet.... they have been waiting so long for it!
