Dear family and friends,
Well first I want to say thank you Mom and Dad and Grandpa
for your letters for my birthday and also thank you Mom, Dad and Chace for my
birthday package! The food and snacks are really good! I can't believe I will
be turning 19 years old...I don't know where all the time is going! Everyone
here in my ward loves when the gringos get beef jerky and pringles! haha,
because beef jerky is not here and there are only 3 different kind of pringles.
Also, this week has bee great! On Wednesday we had a multi
zone conference and I learned so much. There were 4 zones there and we always
start with a song, prayer, Doctrine and Covenants 4 and a spiritual thought!
Out of all the people there, which were like 70, I was asked to give the
spiritual thought... I was nervous. I don't know why but when its comes to
talking in front of president, the assistants and 70 other missionaries, I felt
that I forgot my Spanish, but when I got up there and shared my spiritual
thought I was fine!
I learned so much during the conference that I will never
forget the things I need to do! I loved hearing the council that our mission
president gave us through the revelation that he recieved to help us with the
work!
Also, we have 7 fechas (baptism dates) in total! And we hope
to accomplish all of our goals this week of 70 contacts, 15 new investigators,
and 2 new fechas. Four of our fechas are a family! And in this last week, we
have really seen a great change in them. They are reading, praying, and most of
all are acting on the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I hope they continue in
this path, get married and then get baptized!
