Dear family and friends,
This week has been a great week! Well first I heard about my
changes last week and I heard that I was going to be companions with Elder
Cano, which many people have told me that I would hate him because he talks a
lot and is really self-centered. To be honest I haven't had any problems with
him yet, I think he has been a great companion in these last few days and that
we are going to have a lot of success!
I am in an area called Zion. This area has had a lot of
baptisms in this last year. About 30 in this last year but a lot are inactive
so we are going to work with a lot of these recent converts to get them to the
temple and to also try to baptize their family members. So this week we put a
fecha with an 11 year old for the 6 of February and he is excited to be
baptized. We had 2 investigators that were in sacrament meeting and the ward I
am in is super strong, there is about 150 members and they, the bishop and his
counselors want to work! I have been trying to visit all of the members this
week but it has been super hard because there are so many.
So my companion is Elder Cano, he is from Honduras, he is 24
years old and has 21 months in the mission. He only has 2 more changes and then
he will be going home, so I feel like I will be his last companion! Well that's
it for this week! Adios!
Love you guys!
Elder Flygare
