Dear family and friends,
Hello! This week has been great! We had a great turn out
with investigators that attended church this yesterday! And the best part is
that we also had to travel to Guastatoya which is 1 hour and 15 min away in bus
for our district conference. (It's like stake conference but of the branches in
the district). So we had 7 investigators in sacrament meeting! I have never had
7 in sacrament meeting before! The most I have had is 6, and the best part is
that 3 of the 7 have baptismal dates and are progressing to be baptized this
Saturday or the 26 of December! and luckily we got to see President Crapo and
Sister Crapo on Saturday and on Sunday! I love hearing the stories and talks
from President Crapo! He has really been a great leader and example for me here
on the mission!
So right now we have 11 baptismal dates and almost all of
them have desires to attend church and to keep with their commitments. I hope
that we can overcome the challenges that lie ahead of us so that we can help
these people get married and baptized!
Well also mom to answer your question about if I get sick
here in the mission, and the answer is that in these last 4 months I haven't
been sick with anything, it been a huge blessing! and before, if I got sick it
was only for one day and my stomach was hurting but I still went out to work.
Oh and I recieved a call on friday that said that my
packages came in but she gave the packages to the office elders of Guatemala
City Central Mission, so on Friday she didn't recieve my package so I don't
know if you guys have recieved my package.
So I would like to share 2 scriptures with you guys. one is
in Isaiah 9:9 which goes along with the campaign or video that the church
produced for Christmas 9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the
inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
and also in Omni 1:26
Sorry the computer won't change the scripture into English.
Well have a great day and week and live it up for me!

Here is the scripture in English: 26 And now, my beloved brethren, I would that
ye shouldcome unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his
salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your
whole souls as anoffering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and
endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved.
