Familia y amigos,

Pues en esta ulitma semana yo he estado un poco enfermo pero ya estoy mejor.

Tambien en esta semana nosotros tuvimos un bautismo!  (English translation: Well in this last week I have been a little sick but I am better.  Also, this week we had a baptism!)

Well, this last week has been a long week! I don't know why it was so long but my companion Elder Cordero finished the mission and now I will be receiving a new companion and I will most likely be finishing these two changes as zone leader.

Also, this week we had a baptism! Her name is Jesica Hernandez, she is 30 years old and she has 4 kids. Her son was going to get baptized with her but he was afraid and then didn't get baptized yesterday. We are planning that he can get baptized this Saturday so we hope he will overcome his fear.  So we hope that we can baptize him this week and also I would like to ask you guys to pray for him and for our other investigator who will be baptized the 18th of June, but pray that she can receive her answer to her prayers and feel that this is the decision that she should make. Her name is Azucena.

Also this week we had 11 investigators in sacrament meeting!!!  WOOOHOOO! We are so happy that so many people came to the sacrament meeting, especially because it was stake conference! For these last 6 months the elders in my area and I have been preparing people to receive the Melchizedek priesthood and 4 people from our ward received it! It's awesome not only to see our investigators get baptized but to also help the members and recent converts progress spiritually and become more converted members of the Lord's church.

Well sorry that this letter will be really short. It's because me and my companion are sick and we don't have a lot of energy.  I don't know what we have but it will all be alright.

So this week we had divisions with Bethania and with Trebol 2 and in the divisions we learned a lot of things from them. I always love divisions because you can learn of little things that you can be better at and little things you can change to become a better missionary.

Well I have been reading in 1 Nefi chapter 8 which talks about the tree of life and I love this chapter. In this chapter we can all learn different things here but something that I loved was that if we stay strong holding to the iron rod, we will get to the tree and finally be able to partake of the fruit that will bring everlasting joy to our lifes. This everlasting joy is only possible through the gospel of Jesus Christ, through his gospel and his sacrifice we can be clean of our sins and we can return to live with him for eternity.  But only if we have a tight grip to the iron rod we can continue in our path to the tree, through our study of the Book of Mormon, prayers, attending church and having our family home evenings, we can assure that we will be guided by the spirit and that we will receive the blessing that the lord has in store for us.

Well today I'm going to start out by telling you guys that a miracle happened in our area! So about two week ago we had a meeting with Elder Ochoa from the seventy, and in the same meeting President Crapo told us that he was going to change our goals as a mission. So he changed the goals that we have to contact 105 people every week, (the same as before) 15 new investigators(the same), 4 investigators in sacrament meeting(NEW), 2 new fechas (the same) and 2 baptisms every month and the second that we had this new goal of 4 investigators in the sacrament meeting, we had the blessing and a miracle to have 8 investigators in sacrament meeting. We were only expecting to have 4 people and then 4 more people came and we were so suprised but more than anything we were happy that we had so many people in sacrament meeting.

Well I don't have too much time, but I will tell you guys more next week!

Hey family friends!

This week has been a great week as I have got to know my area and as I have started to teach the investigators in this area.

Right now I don't have a lot of time but I would like to let all the mothers I know, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! I'm sorry to tell you guys this but I'm grateful that I have the best mom in the world! She has always been there for me and supporting me in everything I do, whether it was in swim, school, and especially here in the mission. She has done so much for me and I will always be grateful for her and when I get back I will have to start doing a lot of service to payher back for everything!

Have a great week! I'm doing fine and I'm safe! That's the least I can ask for! Thanks everyone for your emails! They really let me know how much you guys care!

Family and friends,

Well this week has been amazing! We were working super hard so that we can help our investigators come to church! and we had 6 people in church! It has been a little bit difficult to get investigators to church but we are now starting to progress.

Also, this week we had alot of lessons with investigators to help them progress and so that they can enter into the waters of baptism!

But sadly I won't be able to be at their baptisms or be able to teach them any more because I will be having emergency changes and I will be going to another area. There is nothing super bad that is happing to cause these changes but I will be going there because the Lord wants me there, and also I'm almost pretty sure that I will be finishing my mission there and I will be finishing as zone leader. So my new companion is from Nicaragua and he will be finishing his mission in 4 weeks. haha another companion will be leaving the mission!

Well I don't have to much time but thanks for the emails! and have a great week!

Hola familia y amigos!

Well a new change has started and I have a new companion! So this change I am still in the area Zion, and I only have 3 changes left until I will be home!

So my new companion is Elder Uribe! He is from Chile and he lives in Puerto Montt, that is in the south part of Chile. PS. so a little more than a year ago i was training a new missionary that was called Elder Alvarado, Elder Alvarado lives 30 min away from Elder Uribe and they are in the same stake!

also Elder Uribe is 23 years old, he likes to breakdance, he has 14 months in the mission and his 2nd companion was Elder Dawson! My best friend, my companion in the MTC and he's from the same stake as me!

So also I'm going to tell you guys that Elder Uribe is super spiritual, he has so much patience and he loves to help the people here.

Me and Elder Uribe are going to have at least 2 baptisms this month! We are trying hard to baptize Jorge and also to baptize Cindy. They both have attended church three times and are reading the Book of Mormon! Also Cindy is going to seminary and she loves it!

So this week, was kind of a crazy week.

First, saying goodbye to Elder Cano and Elder Espinoza was really hard. They were both two companions that I really got along with and we had some great moments with them.

Second, recieving a new companion, Elder Uribe, and showing him the area and teaching him how to be Zone Leader.

Third, that the zone this week ended the month with 8 baptisms! Our goal as a zone was 9 but we only had 8 and our zone only has 12 missionaries.

Fourth, we had divisions with the assistants and I took a picture with the 12 Apostles!;)

and that was our week!
